Cruisin’ Saturday Night Scholarship Program

In 2004 Hill’s Classic Cars was approached by the post master about having a car show to help unveil a new stamp featuring the 55 Thunderbird. It sounded like fun, but we wanted it to be for a good cause. That year we started the scholarship fund as a way to give back to the community and its people. From that first show we awarded $400 and as of June 2022 we have raised and awarded over $72,000.

The committee would like to thank the 2022 host sponsors: Home National Bank, Napa Baer, Martin Senour Paints, Mark Porter Auto Group, Grafton Metal Refinishing and Hill’s Automotive, for their continued support.

The recipient for this scholarship must be a Meigs County Student graduating from Eastern, Southern or Meigs with a minimum of 1 to be awarded to each High school. A student planning to go into a mechanical science field will have their application weighted higher, but it is open to any field of study. The scholarship committee will base the main part of their decision on the essay portion of the application. The Class of 2023 recipients will receive$1,000 each towards their college expenses.

Applications are due to the Committee no later than March 1, 2023 via mail:
Hill’s Classic Cars
29625 Bashan Road
Racine, OH 45771

Email: tbird1957@frontier.com.

They can also be dropped off at Hill’s Classic Cars office Mon-Fri 8-4
