Some Current Projects
Our current projects include full and partial restorations of a variety of cars. Below are just a few cars which are in various stages of the restoration process.
57 Supercharged Thunderbird and frame-The goal for this body-off restoration is to be completed for the International CTCI Show in Portland, Oregon. This soon to be beautiful bird will have a black exterior with a white interior and black soft top. It has a 312 supercharged engine, 300hp, 3speed od, tc radio, and fender skirts. The first picture shows the car in primer ready to sand and paint. The frame, pictured below, is painted and ready for assembly. The third picture demonstrates what the car body looks like when painted and ready to be placed on the car frame. Finally the body is painstakingly placed on its frame and the tedious process of assembling the rest of the car now begins.
57 E Thunderbird-This body-off restoration is of an inca gold 57 dual 2X4 barrel car. Originally, this classy car had been exported to Mexico in December of 1957. The interior of this 3 speed overdrive car is white. It has a 312 V8 engine and 270 hp, power windows, steering, brakes, and seat, tc radio, fender skirts, dress-up kit, and rear mount antenna. Hopefully, you'll see this car at the International CTCI Show in Oregon. It's one you won't want to miss.
57 GMC Custom Truck-This is a resto-mod body-off restoration on a 1957 GMC truck. When this beauty is finished and shown, people will be seeing a uniquely painted tobacco copper metalic Martin Senior/Planet color with a two tone tan leather interior. Other interesting specs on this car include a 9 inch Ford DPI Goldtrac rear end, a L460E transmission, 5.7 liter LS1 GTO engine, Meyers coil-over suspension, and rack and pinion steering. Other added features include air conditioning, power windows, XM radio/CD player, tilt steering wheel, and cruise control. Completion for this project is expected by late summer.
51 Crosley-This car will be a Supersport Roadster with a body-off restoration. Its features include a beige exterior with a red interior and black soft top. Also, this car is equipped with a 4 cylinder OHC carburetor, 3 speed transmission, and radio. Completion for this car is projected for the fall so hopefully, you'll see it on a showfield before the snow flies.
1948 Ford-This car is being maintained by our shop and is used throughout the area as an attraction in parades and various events within our county. It is quite a unique car and the owner has stories galore to go along with its history.
1957 E Thunderbird-Another car which is in a different stage of restoration is this 1957 gun metal gray dual 2x4 barrel with red interior. An automatic transmission, power steering, and a 270 hp motor are just a few of this car's features. It also has a tc radio, dress up kit, fender skirts, and a gun metal gray porthole top. This vehicle is getting very close to completion and, even though the pictures don't adequately show off the car's beauty, it will be sure to put a smile on faces when seen.
61 Eldorado Biarritz Cadillac-This classic car of an era gone by is a 1961 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible done in a beautiful jade metallic exterior with a jade ostrich grain leather interior. It comes with a full array of power options and really brings back memories of a wonderful time in history.
1957 Bronze Thunderbird-This car just left the shop with its proud owner who has been in Iraq serving our country. Thank you to all our service men for the jobs they do in trying to keep our country safe and free. This bronze 1957 tbird wasn't a complete bodyoff restoration at our shop, but it did get a new paint job and makeover. The owner hopes to enjoy and drive this beauty while he's home on leave. Our staff would like to thank him again and wish him a safe return from his next tour of duty.
