Some Current Projects

Here are more pictures of some of our past restorations which include full and partial restorations of a variety of cars.  Below are just a few cars which have been completed and driven or shown.

57 Supercharged Thunderbird and frame-The goal for this body-off restoration was completed for the International CTCI Show in Portland, Oregon. This  beautiful bird has a black exterior with a white interior and black soft top.  It has a 312 supercharged engine, 300hp, 3speed od, tc radio, and fender skirts.  The first picture shows the car in primer ready to sand and paint.  The frame, as it was done, is pictured. The tbird picture demonstrates what the car body looks like when painted and ready to be placed on the car frame.  Finally the body is painstakingly placed on its frame and the tedious process of assembling the rest of the car now begins.

57 E Thunderbird-This body-off restoration is of an inca gold 57 dual 2X4 barrel car.  Originally, this classy car had been exported to Mexico in December of 1957.  The interior of this 3 speed overdrive car is white.  It has a 312 V8 engine and 270 hp, power windows, steering, brakes, and seat, tc radio, fender skirts, dress-up kit, and rear mount antenna. This beauty was shown in CTCI International in Oregon and received a Gold Medalion and an Excellence in Authenticity.

57 GMC Custom Truck-This is a resto-mod body-off restoration on a 1957 GMC truck.  This beauty has been finished and delivered and is a show stopper for people who see a uniquely painted tobacco copper metalic Martin Senior/Planet color with a two tone tan leather interior.  Other interesting specs on this car include a 9 inch Ford DPI Goldtrac rear end, a L460E transmission, 5.7 liter LS1 GTO engine, Meyers coil-over suspension, and rack and pinion steering.  Other added features include air conditioning, power windows, XM radio/CD player, tilt steering wheel, and cruise control.  Below are some pictures as it was restored and the finished product.  It's difficult to see the exterior paint in the picture, but it really is spectacular, the way it sparkles and shines with its metallic flecks.

1957 E Thunderbird-Another car which is in a different stage of restoration is this 1957 gun metal gray dual 2x4 barrel with red interior.  An automatic transmission, power steering, and a 270 hp motor are just a few of this car's features.  It also has a tc radio, dress up kit, fender skirts, and a gun metal gray porthole top.  This vehicle is getting very close to completion and, even though the pictures don't adequately show off the car's beauty, it will be sure to put a smile on faces when seen.

1957 Bronze Thunderbird-This car just left the shop with its proud owner who has been in Iraq serving our country.  Thank you to all our service men for the jobs they do in trying to keep our country safe and free.  This bronze 1957 tbird wasn't a complete bodyoff restoration at our shop, but it did get a new paint job and makeover.  The owner hopes to enjoy and drive this beauty while he's home on leave.  Our staff would like to thank him again and wish him a safe return from his next tour of duty.

Check this out!  In Hershey this Itty Bitty Bird was auctioned off for charity.  Believe it or not, taking this little pedal car and creating a tbird is quite a restoration process and it takes an inordinate amount of time and ingenuity.  Pictured below is the pedal car image as it appeared on the box before any work took place.  Beside it is a picture of the car as it progresses through a complete change.

The finished product was auctioned off at the Hershey Car Show in 2008.  Here's a picture of how it looked  as it went on the auction block.  It's just too pretty and unique to actually let a little one play with it day after day.

This year at the Hershey Auction a replica of a Mustang, called Ellie, was auctioned for charity.  She brought in around $2,000.00 at the auction and she's a special minature for someone to admire.

This partial restoration is of a 1964 dark blue Chevelle.  The interior and trunk are being redetailed.  The engine and transmission are rebuilt and detailed to make this car really stand out.
